Sound Absorbing Encapsulated Pads
- Sound absorbing medium for applications behind perforated metal and wood ceilings, and wall panels.
- Most common facings used are black PVC or Poly.
- Available in a variety of sizes and shapes to accommodate unique designs.
Standard Facing descriptions
Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) – Available in 11 colors, including low gloss black. Interior use only.
Dupont Tedlar Polyvinyl Fluoride (PVF), is USDA and FDA listed in controlled environments such as cleanrooms and food processing areas. Tedlar is resistant to many chemicals and solvents and can be used in an exterior application exposed to sunlight and moisture. Applications in ranges of -98F to 225F.
Polyethylene (Poly) – least expensive standard material. Available in black or white. Interior use only.
